Previous Land Rover Events
We have entered the European Landy Rally four times each covering up to 3000 miles in a week. The First time we entered in 2007 we were joined by our two sons, Marc and Kieran in Kierans Defender 90. Subsequently we entered in our 1993 Discovery 200TDI
The UK Mac 4x4 Challenge
Each of these events is typically around 400-600 miles, usually from the the same start point at Britpart's head office on the Welsh border, and finishing with a presentation dinner at Warrington. We have entered every year from 2008 to 2014 raising a total of around £10,000.00 for Macmillan.
As well as entering organised events we also "do our own thing" and have travelled extensively in the Pyrenees and Portugal. During October 2013 we managed 500 miles of the 750 mile Trans-Portugal trail. This extends from the top NE corner of Portugal to the most Westerly point in Europe at Sagres and is nearly all off road. Having to return to work prevented us from finishing this trip but we will be back !!
